We seek an experienced and confident immigration adviser to make migrants aware of their legal rights and to undertake casework

Central England Law Centre is the UK’s largest Law Centre, with a national reputation for innovation and excellence in its legal practice. Following the opening of an office in Birmingham in late 2013, Coventry Law Centre agreed a change to its name to create Central England Law Centre.

We are one of 11 partners in the MiFriendly Cities Project, and this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced immigration advisor to join an innovative regional project that aims to make our cities migrant friendly. You will work in our established and well respected immigration advice team, and you will use your legal knowledge and experience to reach undocumented children and their parents and assist them to regularise their status where possible. You will also work closely with the other partners in the MiFriendly Cities Project to provide ‘legal health checks’ to migrants they are supporting. This approach is intended to solve legal problems but also to increase the legal capability of people who receive this service.

Join a team that is trying to make a difference.  To learn more about the project please request a recruitment pack by emailing [email protected]

We have offices in both Birmingham and Coventry and the post can be based at either office.  Our Coventry office is in the city centre and a 5 minute walk from the main railway station and our Birmingham office is in Tyseley also a 5 minute walk from the local station, and our terms and conditions include flexible working; 28 days holiday plus 8 statutory days, and pension scheme membership.
