Helping children thrive

Much of our work involves children and families.

  • Representation for Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children.
  • Advice and representation for families where children are being taken into care.
  • Legal action to stop domestic violence.
  • Advice for families affected by welfare reform.
  • Helping families get the care and support they need where their children are disabled or have a long term condition.

Advice for Families

Since 2015, we have supported over 600 of the most vulnerable families in Coventry with legal advice through this project. It has demonstrated that specialist legal advice resolves problems for parents enabling them to provide a stable home for their family. Read more

Kids in Need of Defense UK

Research estimates that there are over 215,000 undocumented children in the UK. Undocumented children are vulnerable to poverty, social exclusion and exploitation. As many as half of them have an entitlement to British citizenship. Read more
