Advice for people who are tenants of Whitefriars struggling with their debts to help them talk about their difficulties, to prioritise their debts and support them to reduce them. We will help you to identify and prioritise your debts and identify ways in which your income could be maximised. We will review any loan and credit agreements that you have signed to ensure that they are enforceable. We will help you to complete a budget to help identify what options you have with regard to your debts. This could involve negotiating affordable repayments to creditors through to assisting you to apply for bankruptcy if this option were necessary. We are accredited to apply for Debt Relief Orders and offer assistance and representation in connection with court and other legislative processes. We provide advice on the following debt related matters: rent / mortgage arrears magistrates court fines council tax arrears credit cards, loans benefit overpayments catalogues, overdrafts bailiffs/enforcement officers payday (short term) loans gas and electricity arrears, and water rates. We understand that debt problems can be distressing and the situation can be confusing. We do not make judgements about how people spend their money.
