The EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS) is the scheme which aims to ensure that everyone who is in the UK under EU rights is documented, now the UK has left the EU. All EU citizens and their families who arrived in the UK before 31 December 2020 were required to apply to receive either settled or pre-settled status through the EU Settlement Scheme, depending on how long they have been here.
In order to keep your rights to live, work, study and claim benefits in the UK you must have registered with the EU Settlement Scheme. The deadline to register for most people was 30 June 2021.
Central England Law Centre continues to work alongside Coventry and Birmingham local authorities to deliver specialist advice to EU migrants and their family members to help with late and outstanding applications; and legal advice and representation.
We are holding a number of local drop-in clinics to provide support for people with late and outstanding applications; and legal advice and representation. You can drop in to speak to our expert advisors about anything related to the EUSS and you can contact us via phone.
