About us What we do We provide free specialist legal advice to those most in need and use legal processes to fight inequality. We advocate for people, challenge unfair decisions, take cases to the highest courts and work in partnerships with other support services. Getting a person’s disability-related welfare benefits reinstated; ensuring people are treated fairly at work; helping families to remain in their home when threatened with eviction; securing leave to remain in the UK; getting a non-molestation order to provide protection from a violent partner; giving a voice in care proceedings so that children can remain with family, getting the right care package for a disabled child and ensuring a person’s mental health condition is acknowledged and supported. These are just a few ways in which Central England Law Centre uses its knowledge and legal expertise in social welfare law to protect the rights of those in need. As well as helping people move from crisis to stability, we deliver services that help people anticipate problems by acting early and tackling the root cause.
