The Government has made provision for people who cannot take their Statutory leave entitlement in the year it is due. This might be because you are not able to book leave due to working in the health care sector or other key worker area. If you are unable to book your leave you can carry over up to 4 weeks or 20 days and take that leave during the next two annual leave years. You will need to discuss with your employer if you think you may not be able to take your entitlement in this leave year and how the arrangements will work in your workplace.
