Head of Finance - Wendy Stanyon

Wendy manages our Finance Team and is responsible for ensuring management of our finances and risk management processes. She ensures the correct recognition of and accounting for all of the funds that we have, as well as compliance with Charities Commission Guidance and Company law. Wendy has worked in voluntary sectors for many years and has been at the Law Centre now for 10 years and has guided us through a period of growth and the many changes that we have experienced in our funding sources as well as the numerous changes to Legal Aid.

In response to the Law Centre's case, the Home Office has now amended the immigration rules to include partners with pre-settled status within the new scheme of support for migrant victims of domestic abuse.

Intensive Support

Funded by Coventry Building Society and the NHS Innovation Fund, the Law Centre employs two intensive support workers to help vulnerable clients to not only solve their immediate legal issue but to take a holistic approach to addressing underlying issues, enabling them to move from a position of crisis to a point of stability.
