My employer dismissed me before the scheme was announced – what can I do?

If the reason your employer terminated your employment was due to the coronavirus your employer can, subject to the above eligibility criteria, re-hire you and then furlough you. This can then be backdated to 1 March 2020. Speak to your employer.
