Central England Law Centre has worked with Coventry City Council to understand why take up of free school meals by families with No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF)is low in the city.  

During the course of conversations with partners it has become clear the process is badly misunderstood and NRPF families are being incorrectly turned down for free school meals that they are entitled to.

The law centre and the council has co created a leaflet that can be downloaded and shared by partners to support more people to make a successful application. The leaflet explains:
