We have provided our legal advice services at the Hub in Birmingham on a monthly basis since 2015 and have done this in a way that fits in with their philosophy of building supportive relationships in order to help the local community understand that may of their problems have a legal solution.

The Open Door Community Foundation grew from the pioneering community-building work of the Reverend Al Barret at Hodge Hill Church, supported by Birmingham Churches Together and Thrive Together, organisations committed to tackling poverty in Birmingham.  Based in a shop in the precinct of the Bromford Housing Estate,

As a place of welcome, Open Door at the Hub offers friendly faces, a warm welcome, and a listening ear. People might come to Open Door with ‘needs’, but we welcome everyone through the door as a human being with skills, knowledge and passions that they can unlock and share with others in the community.
